Natural products remain an untapped source of powerful anti-cancer agents. Our lab focuses on bioactive small molecules derived from natural sources, such as nimbolide from the neem tree, to uncover novel mechanisms of tumor suppression, metabolic regulation, and immune modulation. Using our 3D-bioprinted tumoroid platform, we evaluate how these compounds influence tumor viability, immune infiltration, and therapeutic synergy with immune checkpoint inhibitors. By bridging natural product chemistry with precision cancer modeling, we aim to translate nature-inspired compounds into next-generation therapeutics for genitourinary and other solid tumors.
